Stewardship centered on relationship
Bring the full tithe into the storehouse, so that there may be food in my house, and thus put me to the test, says the Lord of hosts; see if I will not open the windows of heaven for you and pour down for you an overflowing blessing (Malachi 3:10).
Stewardship at St. Mary’s is focused on knitting together the fabric of the Church with people who seek a deeper relationship with God and with others on the walk of faith. Fundamentally, stewardship is centered on relationship, and St. Mary’s provides a myriad of small, personal events outside of the worship services where a sense of community and belonging can be established. Not surprisingly, when people are embraced by an inclusive community, they are eager to “tithe” their talents in service, in addition to supporting the work of the church financially. By “seeding” the community, St. Mary’s is blessed with a congregation committed to seeding its future.
