Whoever you are, and wherever you are on your journey of faith, you are most welcome here!

St. Mary's Episcopal Church is a diverse community of people committed to loving God, loving one another, and loving our neighbors as ourselves.

Our community of faith includes people of all ages and many backgrounds, the majority of whom were not raised in the Episcopal Church. We’ve all found a home at St. Mary’s because of this parish's inclusive values, strong commitment to social justice, and extensive local outreach efforts. St. Mary’s attracts members from across the Main Line who are seeking an unabashedly progressive Christian faith community.  St. Mary's strives to be an anti-racist congregation and an LGBTQIA+ safe space.  We welcome all of who you are into the embrace of our community life and the warmth of God's love.

There are many ways to get connected with life at St. Mary's!
  • Join us for worship on Sunday mornings at 8:15 or 10:30 (or 10:00 in June, July, and August).  Our 8:15 worship service is small, quiet, contemplative, and about 45 minutes in length.  It includes a sermon and Holy Communion.  Our 10:30 service is larger, livelier, and longer, at about 75 minutes in length.  Our choir leads the music, and excellent children's programming is always available.  The 10:30 service includes a sermon and Holy Communion, which is always open to all.
  • Become a guest or volunteer at the Ardmore Food Pantry, a ministry founded and led by St. Mary's on behalf of our whole community.  The Pantry serves over 200 guest households each week, and our volunteer corps is drawn from throughout Lower Merion and Haverford Townships.  The Pantry is open on Mondays from 10:45-Noon and from 5:30-7:00.
  • We offer theologically progressive, LGBTQ-affirming programming for children and youth.
  • We offer choirs for adults and children/youth.  Anyone interested in singing is most welcome!
